Walkabout Wednesdays, Palisade's New Art Walk! - Press Release
Palisade, CO| April 7, 2025 – Mark your calendars for the start of Walkabout Wednesdays, Palisade, Colorado’s newest monthly art walk happening the first Wednesday of every month. The first Walkabout Wednesday will be happening May 7th from 5pm to 8pm in downtown Palisade.
Each month, Walkabout Wednesdays will feature live music in the Palisade Plaza, extended business hours downtown, and, of course, art will be the highlight of the event! Artists will be throughout downtown creating paintings, selling art, and showing off Palisade’s amazing art scene. Each month, Walkabout Wednesdays will feature a unique theme, inspiring downtown artists to create and showcase artwork based on that theme. The theme for May will be Mount Garfield, a beautiful and iconic landmark of Palisade.
“Walkabout Wednesdays is an opportunity to support local artists and businesses while enjoying a lively, creative downtown,” said Jessica Burdord, President and CEO of the Palisade Chamber of Commerce. “We invite everyone to come out, stroll through town, and experience the vibrant arts scene Palisade has to offer.”
Walkabout Wednesdays is a collaboration between the Palisade Chamber of Commerce, downtown restaurants, stores, art galleries, and Palisade Art Vision, bringing together local businesses, artists, and the community to celebrate Palisade’s beautiful arts scene and support small businesses.
