Olde Fashioned Christmas starts off the holiday season in Palisade, Colorado! This annual tradition is filled with small town holiday joy. From Palisade’s classic Parade of Lights to our Winter Market, there’s fun activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Attention! The Gingerbread Contest and Showcase has moved! It will now be at the Ordinary Fellow, 202 Peach Ave, Palisade, CO 81526. For registration and drop-off, Santa’s Workshop, and anything else related to the Gingerbread Contest and Showcase, please make sure to go to this location instead of the previous one. There will not be a registration and drop-off on Friday. Registration and drop off on Saturday will 8:30 – 9:30am on Saturday. Thank you for your understanding, and continued support of such a cherished community tradition.
Friday, December 6th
The Historic Olde Fashioned Christmas Parade of Lights! This year’s theme is Let it Glow! Participants are encouraged to brighten up their floats as much as possible using Christmas lights to make their floats glow!

Breakfast with Santa
Enjoy a delightful breakfast buffet while sharing laughter and joy with Santa Claus himself!
Children can stop by the hot cocoa bar, get a professional photo taken with Santa, receive a free book, enjoy a candy cane, and share their holiday wishes in Santa’s winter wonderland.

Gingerbread Contest & Showcase
The Gingerbread exhibit is open at The Ordinary Fellow from 11am until 4pm, and is a free public event. Winners announced at 3:45pm.
Soup Challenge
Downtown Plaza 11am – 2pm
Local Restaurants will compete for the most prestigious award of the year!
$7 to taste all three soups and get a cup of your choice.
All proceeds go to The Palisade Chamber of Commerce.
