About

Walkabout Wednesday is Palisade’s NEW art walk happening on the first Wednesday of each month! It was made to celebrate Palisade’s beautiful art scene and showcase the artists in our community.

During Walkabout Wednesday, there is live music in the downtown plaza, businesses have extended hours, and, of course, the highlight of the event is art. Artists are spread out throughout downtown creating paintings, selling art, and showing off our amazing art scene!

Artful Presentations

As we all know, art and culture go hand in hand. Every Walkabout Wednesday we have speakers join us to present on a topic that relates to our monthly theme. July’s theme is independence!

Our speaker at the Artful Cup Lounge will be Kathy Martin, presenting the art of floral arrangements!

Downtown Plaza Live Music

Each Walkabout Wednesday features a musician in the downtown plaza bringing downtown alive and giving you some great music to listen to while you explore beautiful art pieces and visit local shops!
