About the Foundation

The Palisade Agricultural Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to celebrate, preserve, and sustain the agricultural heritage of the greater Palisade area. Through education, stewardship, and community engagement, the Foundation supports the people, practices, and land that define Palisade’s agricultural identity while ensuring its long-term vitality.

Our Mission

Our mission is to preserve and honor the agricultural and cultural legacy that has shaped our community’s identity. From the hardworking hands that have tilled the soil to the traditions woven into the fabric of our heritage, we strive to ensure that the stories, practices, and values of our agricultural past continue to resonate with future generations.

Our Board

Board Chair: Laura Black, Mesa Park Fruit

Laura Black brings a unique blend of real estate expertise and hands-on agricultural experience to the Palisade Agricultural Foundation. As both a local Realtor and co-owner of Mesa Park Fruit, a peach, cherry, and wine grape agricultural business, she understands the land, the industry, and the people who make this community thrive. Her work bridges the gap between agriculture and real estate, and she feels fortunate to operate in both industries in a cohesive way.
